For This Week's Topics

The purpose of your Scientific Journal will be to collect your thoughts every two weeks and review what you have learned in science class and the world around you. Occasionally topics will be given to encourage thought provoking responses that will prompt you to make observations about your environment and prompt you to use some problem solving techniques. Topic discussions will be generated by journal entries.
Scientific Journals are scheduled on a Friday every few weeks.
15-20 minutes will be used on a Friday every few weeks to write a Scientific Journal entry.
Please write legibly in PRINT or Cursive :0)
Create a FOLDABLE and put you Name, Date and Group at the top right hand corner.
You are encouraged to stay on task or risk forfeiting a portion of your Journal grade.

●Record AT LEAST 2 facts that you have learned from Current Science.
●Record AT LEAST 1 OBSERVATION that you have made about the world around you.

●You will need to respond to a Journal Topic on the "Here's What I Think" tab of your Foldable.
After a few weeks of writing your journal entry on a "foldable" select one or more to create a Formal Journal Entry. We will complete 2 Formal Journal Entries this year.
