What's the difference between
Classwork and Homework?
![]() |
Classwork: Worksheets done in class that compliment a unit and can be used as a studyguide. You do not take these home, but will be able to do them in class and we will correct them in class and they will be returned to you to help you study for a unit test. |
![]() |
Homework: Written work from your textbook or other assignments that are expected to be completed at home or during guidedstudy or CLC afterschool and returned by a specific DUE date. *Most homework will be started in class and corrected in class at a later date. |
Be sure to answer all classwork and homework questions in complete sentences to receive full credit. Incomplete work will be returned and marked INCOMPLETE.
Example:
What are the 6 steps used in the scientific method?
The 6 steps used in the scientific method are: Identify the problem, collect information, form a hypothesis, test the hypothesis, accept or reject the hypothesis and then report the results.
For Grading System
At least 10 minutes will be given in class to begin all classwork and/or homework.
Assignments are your responsibility. See me for extra help or to make up your late or absent work to avoid receiving a zero or a late grade (70).
Students not meeting the standards will attend CLC afterschool.*All worksheets can be obtained from Mz. Marcotte if you have been ABSENT.
